How the process works
EBOO uses a closed circuit. Blood is drawn through venous access, passes through single-use sterile tubing into a dedicated filter, meets a measured mix of oxygen and medical ozone, and returns to the body through another vein. The whole sequence runs in one continuous flow, so blood is never stored outside the body.
One session takes about 60 minutes. You recline in a therapy chair, fully awake, with medical staff monitoring you from start to finish. The recommended number of sessions differs from person to person and is set by the doctor based on your test results, not on a one-size-fits-all package.
Does it hurt?
It is the question we hear most, and the answer is reassuring. While the therapy runs, you feel no pain. Blood flows through the tubing on its own without any sensation. The only brief discomfort comes at the start, as the needle is placed in your arm, roughly the same as having blood drawn for a routine lab test.
Some people feel mild warmth in the arm during the session, which is normal. You can chat, read, or watch something throughout. Many patients come in pairs with a partner or friend and take their sessions side by side. Afterwards you can usually return to your day with no special recovery time.
If needles make you anxious, tell the nurse from the start. We handle this often and will adjust how we accompany you.
How is this different from dialysis?
This question comes up constantly, and the answer matters. Dialysis (hemodialysis) is kidney replacement therapy for patients with kidney failure, a life-saving and irreplaceable medical treatment. EBOO is not kidney replacement therapy and cannot substitute for hemodialysis. The only thing they share is a blood circuit outside the body. Their purpose, indication, and role are entirely different.

The recommended number of sessions differs from person to person and is only decided after your tests, so no uniform package is pushed on you. If the doctor recommends a series, 3-session (Rp 9.900.000) and 6-session (Rp 18.000.000) packages are available.
